Fans at Wembley disgusted after beer is scooped out of drip tray at Fury vs Whyte
dailystar.co.ukBoxing fans were left with a bitter taste in their mouths after watching beer being scooped out of a drip tray to fill pint glasses at Wembley Stadium.The footage, taken from inside the 90,000 seater arena during the heavyweight boxing showdown between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte on Saturday night, shows a kiosk worker holding an empty pint glass.
They then pick up another pint glass and proceed to scoop dregs of beer from the drip tray from one cup to another to create a full pint of lager.
A Wembley spokesperson told the Daily Mail the alcohol was being collected and discarded. "We are aware of a video on social media of a kiosk at Wembley Stadium," said the spokesperson. "We can confirm that the staff member was emptying a blocked drip tray and discarding the content."However, worried punters voiced their concerns on social media that the beer they had been drinking could have come from the same source.
