Families have been warned that Christmas deliveries could be hit by a 'double whammy' this winter. Hospitality and retail bosses have said that there are 'no guarantees' over supplies to pubs and shops due to warehouse staff shortages and supply chain chaos.
There is a 200,000 shortfall of UK staff, Kate Nicholls, chief executive of UK Hospitality, told MPs on Tuesday.
