A former TV presenter has died after his car plunged into the water at a harbour. Emergency services were called to the scene at Strangford Harbour, in Co Down, Northern Ireland, to search for ex-UTV broadcaster Brian Black.
Earlier today Mr Black was pulled from the water and taken to hospital, where he later died, reports say. Video footage and photos from the scene appear to show a car being lifted out of the water.
Tributes have been paid to the 'kind' presenter and programme maker, with his pals sharing their devastation at the news. Photographer Kevin McAuley tweeted: "Very sad news breaking about Brian Black he was one of a kind great environmentalist, programme maker and presenter. "What a sad way to go.
