Everyday food could be causing 90 per cent of cancers, according to study

A particular food item that most of us are consuming may be causing cancer to spread in the body, according to a new study.

Cancer diagnosis across the country is forecast to increase to nearly half the population, with one out of two of us likely to be diagnosed at one point in our lives.

However, new research suggests that palm oil is one of the main causes for the increase of cancer cases - reports The Express.

The popular but controversial substance has been linked to alterations of the cancer genome - the complex set of genetic material that makes up cells.
