Euro 2020 could be in December as UEFA try to solve coronavirus schedule problems

UEFA is considering moving Euro 2020 to December in a bid to allow the Premier League and other club competitions to catch up their fixtures amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Football leagues across Europe have been left in disarray after all top level fixtures in almost all countries were postponed until at least April 4.

But this date is set to be put back even further should the pandemic worsen and there is talk of leagues not being able to play any more fixtures at all.

Some experts have proposed simply cancelling the current season in it's entirety, picking up next year as a fresh start. This would obviously highly controversial when you consider that could mean the likes of Liverpool, who are 25 points clear at the top of the Premier
