Chelsea just before Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine. Youngster Tino Anjorin spent the first part of the season on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow before suffering a foot injury in November.Although the 20-year-old midfielder wasn’t recalled straight away after sustaining the injury, he played his last game for the capital club in October.

He made 14 appearances in total for Lokomotiv – who lost sports and development manager Ralf Rangnick to Manchester United in November – scoring once in the Europa League against Marseille.

Anjorin returned to Stamford Bridge on Deadline Day, just 24 days before nutjob Vladimir Putin unleashed tyranny on neighbouring Ukraine.

The England youth international was immediately loaned out to Championship side Huddersfield Town, but he didn't join up with the Terriers straight away.He initially remained in west London working with Chelsea’s medical staff as he continued his recovery from a broken metatarsal.
