Emmerdale is absolutely stuffed with characters and has seen many famous faces come and go throughout the 50 years, but some of the show's most dramatic storylines have come from the younger generation.From sex, drugs, relationships, eating disorders and family secrets, Emmerdale's adolescents have been subject to many harsh and often dark plot lines.Away from the soap, some of the Dales' youngest residents enjoy a much simpler life to their character's and love to document their activities on social media.Read on the check out what some of the 2022 cast's lives look like away from the screen.Sarah first appeared in 2005 and has had a tumultuous storyline ever since, having been diagnosed with Fanconi anaemia at just six-years-old, which required a life saving bone marrow transplant.She also received a heart transplant and was shunned by the donor’s family, but outside of the soap actress Katie Hill’s life seems a bit less dramatic.The star has played Sarah since 2017 and is actually 19-years-old, while her character is just 16.On her Instagram profile, Katie can be seen partying at Leeds festival and celebrating birthdays with friends.Only recently, poor Katie got turned away from the Emmerdale set due to a mix-up, as she revealed to fans that she had turned up to work on the wrong day.

She posted on Instagram: "Not me turning up to work at 7am to be told I'm not even in today."Chloe is the sister of Sarah’s heart donor and the pair met up with each other last year.She also began dating Noah Dingle and the pair planned to run away together, but back in February she cheated on him with his frenemy Jacob Gallagher, sparking a love triangle.
