He appears alongside Cain Dingle actor Jeff Hordley in the new episodes filmed under strict distancing measures. Danny and Jeff were the first two actors to try out the new guidelines and film while socially distancing.
Their characters, said Danny, are both "alpha males" who would never normally open up about their emotions but would rather have a beer or a fight instead.
