Emmerdale fans were left scratching their heads during Wednesday evening's episode when Samson informed two teenagers his step-mum's identity had been stolen.Samson, played by Sam Hall, knew two thugs from his school had been threatening Lydia after she was wrongly accused of scamming locals out of their money.He headed to school with a crowbar tucked inside his schoolbag and confronted the pair, defending his step-mum with a steely look on his face.When the lads claimed Lydia (Karen Blick) was a scammer, Samson insisted she wasn't, instead arguing her identity had been stolen online."Robbing scum the lot of you," one of the teens spat. "Lydia’s done no wrong, she had her identity stolen online," Samson replied, his face darkening.
