EasyJet holidaymakers claim they've been left out of pocket by the airline's decision to close its base at Newcastle airport.
Passengers have accused the budget airline of issuing incorrect information on flights - including failing to cancel departures, despite hundreds of journeys no longer going ahead.
They say they've been unable to claim their money back as a result of the fiasco. Passengers told our sister title the Chronicle Live that flights are still appearing as 'active' online, with a countdown to departure.
When they contacted easyJet's call centre, they were told their flights may not be cancelled until 30 days before take-off - leaving some anxious about claiming their money back.
