easyJet flight is reported to have been turned away from landing at its destination in Iceland and forced to return to the UK.It is understood that the reason the jet was unable to land was due to fog.The 16-year-old jet took off from Gatwick at 6.05am and was due in Reykjavik at 7.56am. READ MORE: Meghan Markle's estranged dad hits out at her claims she 'lost him' in furious rant However, flight tracking software has shown that flight EZY8507 was forced to turn back after it had already made it into the airspace above the island nation.Travelling at around 390 knots, it was last reported to be over the northern coast of Scotland as it made its journey back to the UK.According to FlightRadar24 the jet was diverted to Glasgow where it was expected to land at 11.23am.It is not currently known why the plane is not returning to Gatwick, where it took off from.The Daily Star has approached easyJet for comment.
