EastEnders spoilers will reveal that Phil will decide to go to the police to tell them that it was his fault that he had a fight with Keanu and caused the boat to veer and crash earlier this year.
Little does he know, it was actually Ian Beale who killed Denny, as he locked him in a room and left him to drown, before suddenly changing his mind after it was too late.
By admitting he was responsible, Phil could end up leading police to thinking that he was the one behind Keanu's attempted murder back at Christmas.
