thesun.co.ukEASTENDERS fans were delighted when the "old Peter Beale", played by Thomas Law, returned in a classic episode last night. The BBC One soap repeated Syed Masood's wedding to Amira which was originally shown in 2010.
While the main story revolved around Christian's heartache at Syed's nuptials, and Syed's pain as he came out as gay to his mother Zainab just moments before the ceremony, viewers were distracted by the vintage cast.
Old favourites including Heather Trott, Darren Miller, and Squiggle featured in the episode - as well as the fifth of seven actors to take on the role of Ian Beale's son Peter.
