EastEnders legend Adam Woodyatt has revealed he always gives rude fans who comment on his weight a piece of his mind. The 51-year-old actor has played Ian Beale in the BBC soap since 1985 but says he is not a big fan of the amount of attention that comes with starring in one of Britain's biggest soap operas.
The soap star said: "I'm not a showy person. I try to avoid attention. "I'm not your typical luvvie, so I tend to get a quieter time. "During the 80s, through to the mid-90s, people did think you were the character and that was it." He continued: "That has changed for the better.
