Recently, he has noticed Jean's behaviour and mental health deteriorating as she struggles to cope with her family splintering off – what with Stacey (Lacey Turner) still being away after almost killing Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).
Jean referred to Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) as Stacey in a recent episode, which got Kush's ears pricked up and the cogs whirring in his mind.
