The hard man of BBC 's Albert Square (Played by Steve McFadden), was left with a big decision to make tonight over his son Ben who has recently gone deaf following the boat party accident.
A semi-new storyline kicked off tonight as the pair go head-to-head with Phil's old acquaintance Danny Hardcastle once again.
Just before Danny reappeared, Phil and Ben began to bond after a gift arrived for Dennis which Phil had bought for the kid before he died at the party by drowning.
But the conversation is made difficult between the pair due to Ben's hearing loss and Phil could be seen getting frustrated by the situation.
