Last time I wrote about Michael Cowan, he’d been banned from being a director for 13 years. Members of the public had invested in his proposed film version of Shakespeare’s Henry V, said to feature Sir Michael Caine, Ray Winstone and Vinnie Jones.
But none of the stars knew anything about the movie, which was never made, and investors lost around £6million, as I wrote here.
They were similar outcomes with his films said to be featuring Mel Gibson, which I wrote about here, and John Travolta, see here.
His companies, Warlord Productions Limited, Spice Factory (UK) Ltd and Gummy Bear Films Ltd, have all been put into compulsory liquidation by the High Court, while Stealth Media Group Ltd was liquidated owing £13million.
