Vinnie Jones begins filming for first movie since wife Tanya’s death

Hardman Vinnie Jones goes gurning for trouble in his first movie role since the death of his wife Tanya. The former Wimbledon and Leeds United footballer turned actor has begun filming the fifth and final movie in the Rise of the Footsoldier franchise called Origins.

Jones, 55, plays Bernard O’Mahoney, an associate of real-life drug dealers Tony Tucker, Craig Rolfe and Pat Tate found shot dead in their Range Rover near the Essex village of Rettendon in 1995.

Tanya, 53, died in July 2019 from cancer at the family home in Los Angeles. The couple married in 1994 and the tearful star told Piers Morgan Life Stories earlier this year he still talked to her in his mind every day.
