DVLA warning to drivers over licence renewal deadline before end of 2021

Drivers who were given a temporary extension to their driving licence last year are being urged to renew before 2021 is out.

The DVLA gave an automatic extension to motorists whose licence was due to expire between February 1 and December last year amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Now officials are warning that affected drivers must renew by November 2021 to ensure that they receive their new licence on time, Birmingham Live reports.
