A drug dealer was 'caught out by his love of Stilton' after his own picture of a block of cheese led to his arrest. Carl Stewart, 39, of Gem Street, Liverpool, was identified by the Merseyside Police as being connected to an international operation targeting criminals who used a mobile encryption service to try to evade detection.
Stewart was sentenced to 13 years and six months in prison at Liverpool Crown Court on 21 May. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine, conspiracy to supply heroin, conspiracy to supply MDMA, conspiracy to supply ketamine and transferring criminal property.
