A doctor who won £500,000 on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? is planning a round-the-world trip of a lifetime. Andrew Townsley, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, nabbed the incredible prize on Tuesday night’s show in tense scenes.

Speaking about his win, he said: “My wife and I fancied seeing Niagara Falls. “So, I’d like to plan to visit sights like that where you could get to in a big old wheelchair. “Machu Pichu and Angkor Wat would be fantastic.” The life-changing win will also mean 53-year-old Andrew, from Glasgow, will be able to manage his MS better in the future.
