Retired GP Andrew Townsley insists he is “happy with his choice” after narrowly missing out last night on becoming the sixth person to ever win the maximum prize on the ITV show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.
The 53-year-old correctly answered 14 questions, including the £500,000 question, before host Jeremy Clarkson asked him a final question worth a cool £1 million.
