A retired Glasgow GP has narrowly missed out on scooping the jackpot prize on tonight's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Andrew Townsley, who worked at Newhills Medical Practice in Easterhouse, fell just short of becoming the sixth winner in the show's history, but still walked away with a staggering £500k.
But the 53-year-old insists he's happy with his choice to cash out at the final hurdle, as reports the Mirror. Andrew weaved his way through 14 questions, including the £500,000 question, before host Jeremy Clarkson put the final question to him in the most dramatic of circumstances.
