Disney World may be a destination for travelers this summer after all. The theme park, along with other properties, has been closed since mid-March due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S.
and restrictions placed on large gatherings by local governments.But the company just announced its proposed plan for a phased reopening, which they hope to begin on July 11 for its Magic Kingdom parks and July 15 for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, .
Plans have not yet been announced for Disneyland as California's stay-at-home orders are still in place throughout the state.Variety changes to procedures at the parks "would include temperature checks upon arrival, physical distancing, enhanced cleaning, hand-washing and sanitizing stations.
