Man taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' after being 'deliberately hit by car'

A man was taken to hospital on Monday night after he was 'deliberately hit by a car'. Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident, just off King Street in Dukinfield on Monday evening, February 14.

The entrance to a set of apartments was cordoned off, with a heavy police presence at the scene shortly after 6.30 pm. She said: "I was outside having a cigarette and heard a loud bang then a man started screaming about his leg and being in pain. "I saw a black car do a U-turn and then speed off. "It was shocking, more and more police kept arriving and a recovery vehicle turned up, so I assumed that was for the car. "The police cordoned off the whole entrance to the flats within 15 minutes of it happening and were there for hours."
