Director James Gunn Wraps Production On ‘The Suicide Squad’ With An Emotional Note: ‘It Was A Hard, Hard Time In My Life’

However, he found himself in an embarrassing situation this morning when power outages left him with no other choice but to abandon his usual camera.Taking to Twitter to address the mishap, the 49-year-old told his 1.3 million followers: "Eek @Thismorning was hairy."Sudden broadband outage in my area.So I've no home broadband."However, the TV expert, who is renowned for his quick thinking, soon found an alternative."I've poor mobile signal in my house so stuck my mobile in the garden, opened window, used hotspot to get a signal to do my slot via Skype on my PC rather than my normal broadcast camera," he explained.Fans who had been hoping to catch Martin's energy-saving tips in the midst of claims that energy bills will rise by £700 per year were almost in for a disastrous disappointment.@mm0jxi did not spare his blushes when he replied, copying in the This Morning Twitter account to the post, that he should have paid for a business fibre connection.However, Martin was quick to respond that he already had one."Oh we’ve had that but more classy, trenching for the garden irrigation," joked Twitter user, @Irksome73.They added: "I suspect it’s not a real business grade fibre connection, aka leased line because they are not normally affected by area-wide outages."@hwallop was a little more sympathetic, commenting: "That would have given me a heart attack from the stress!"Martin replied: "Yep! Not the easiest, and couldn't find my headphones so had to let it play from my computer speaker.

The coronavirus pandemic has shuttered almost all Hollywood projects, which in turn has had a huge impact on previously scheduled release dates.But despite the mass closures of sets all over the world, director James Gunn took to social media and revealed his upcoming films Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and the follow-up to Suicide Squad will not be affected by the delays.'Right now there's no reason for The Suicide Squad release date to move.

Hollywood has been amongst the several fields that have been deeply affected by the coronavirus scare. Due to theatres being shut down as a preventive measure, filmmakers have had to delay the release dates of their movies to late 2020 or even 2021. Even film shoots have been delayed to an indefinite time as the coronavirus scare is getting deadlier by the day. Hence, fans were curious about the development of two of James Gunn's awaited films - The Suicide Squad & Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

While shutdowns and self-isolation have caused many movie premieres to go straight to streaming or be pushed back, James Gunn is reassuring fans that two films will not be affected.
