He’s a fledgling who needs to expand his repertoire. Often, he wants to make something he’s seen on YouTube and likes the look of, at other times it’s a question of ‘needs must’.
There are weeks of summer holiday ahead and I’m working, so he has to be able to fend for himself, at least at lunchtime.In my head I have a list of meals a novice needs to know how to make: roast chicken, baked fillets of fish, green salad, risotto and various pastas.
