The family of a 'caring, loving' young dad killed in a horror crash on the M62 has paid tribute to him. Kyle Hempenstall, 28, was riding a motorbike on the stretch of the motorway near Salford when he was involved in a collision.
Police were called to the crash - involving a Red Yamaha R1 motorbike, a white Transit van and 'heavy maintenance plant machinery' - between junctions 11 for Birchwood and 12 for Eccles last Wednesday (May 27).
Despite paramedics' best efforts, Mr Hempenstall, from Stockport, was declared dead at the scene. His loved ones have now released a heartbreaking statement.
