Descendants stars reunite for late co-star Cameron Boyce's benefit
msn.comCam For A Cause benefit took place in Los Angeles on Thursday. Last Sunday would've marked the Daytime Emmy Award winner's 24th birthday had he not tragically died, age 20, in 2019 from a severe epileptic seizure.
Sofia brought along her younger sister Paulina Char and they made sure to pose with Dove as well as Cameron's parents Victor and Libby, who run The Cameron Boyce Foundation.
The non-profit organization 'aims to cure epilepsy through funding research, education, and awareness campaigns while still supporting causes that were important to Cameron. 'Boyce, Cameron, Carson, and Stewart starred in all three Descendants films (spanning 2015-2019) as the spawn of Disney villains Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, The Evil Queen, and Jafar.
On March 21, director Jennifer Phang wrapped production on the fourth film of the franchise - Descendants: The Rise of Red - which will stream on Disney+ and feature Brandy Norwood, Paolo Montalban, and Rita Ora.
