Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford has revealed that he switched his TV off ahead of Manchester City laying their hands on the Champions League trophy in Istanbul last Saturday evening.

City became champions of Europe for the very first time after beating Inter Milan 1-0 in a cagey encounter at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium.

Midfielder Rodri scored the only goal of the game with just over 20 minutes of normal time left on the clock to help the Blues complete the Treble.

City had arrived in Istanbul having already won both the Premier League and the FA Cup, and so winning the Champions League meant they matched United's achievement of winning all three trophies in a single season.
