Carol Smillie has been given the boot from Changing Rooms as it's revealed Davina McCall will front the reboot. The former Big Brother host, 52, will step into presenting duties for the new series of the iconic interior design show.
The popular series which originally aired on BBC from 1996 to 2004. Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, who was one of the programme's original interior designer consultants will return.The premise sees two friends redecorate a room in each other's home, under the guidance of the designers, with a budget of just £500 and two days to do it.
Davina told The Sun of her new role: “I’m so excited to be presenting Changing Rooms. It’s the perfect time to bring it back.
