Ashley Banjo is in the dark over his Dancing on Ice future, and isn't sure if he'll return to the popular skating-come-dancing show.The TV hunk, 33, has not been given any guarantee he will return as a judge.He told the Daily Star Sunday: “Dancing on Ice has become part of my calendar and a big part of my career and what I love to do.“The producers have told me that the show will be returning for another series.
But they haven’t given me the green light yet.“I have my fingers crossed that they will ask me back.” Dancing on Ice’s line-up of judges has changed a number of times since it launched in 2006.In the past three years, both Jason Gardiner and John Barrowman have left the show amid controversy.Bosses are due to confirm the panel for the next series later this year.
It is expected ice skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will be back. And there are claims Ex-Strictly star Oti Mabuse will be asked to return.
But Ashley is hoping he is selected again.The Diversity frontman, who has been a judge for five years, didn’t expect to love the show as much as he does.He said: “I never thought I’d be involved or even really care about ice dancing.
