A dad-of-two with schizophrenia suffered irreversible brain damage after being restrained outside a pub with a plastic bag over his face, an inquest has heard.
Gavin Brown, from Stretford, Trafford, died eight days later at Salford Royal - having been put into an induced coma at the hospital.
An inquest into the 29-year-old's death is now taking place in front of a jury at South Manchester Coroners' Court, in Stockport.
