A pregnant woman and her partner were pictured proudly showing off an ultrasound of their unborn baby just weeks before they were tragically killed in a reported hit and run.
Kate Leadbetter was pregnant with her partner Matty Field’s child when they were both killed while out walking their dogs, it has been reported.
Ms Leadbetter's sister Kimberley reportedly shared a photo on Facebook of the couple and their ultrasound in a bid to help search efforts for then-missing dog Frankie, their beloved pet, which was later found.
The tragic pair were said to have been at an intersection when they were hit by an allegedly stolen Landcruiser, which police said had slammed into a truck at speed and rolled.
