COUNTRYFILE viewers were left seriously distracted as they noticed a spelling error during a weather report on the BBC show.
As the popular programme made a return to screens on Sunday night it faced a backlash from viewers. During the weather report those at home watching noticed a a spelling mistake.
The word "settled" was spelt on screen as "setteld" instead. Many viewers pointed this out on Twitter, with some saying that it triggers their Spelling OCD, also known as Grammar Pendantry Syndrome.
In simple terms, people with this condition feel extremely annoyed by grammatical mistakes and are compelled to correct them all.
