At least 31 guests who attended a wedding have tested positive for coronavirus, including a pregnant woman and a member of parliament.
Scott Maggs and Emma Metcalf had 140 guests attend their wedding at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Sydney, on March 6. Now 14 days on from the special day, a total of 31 cases have been linked to the ceremony.
The couple learned the that two of their guests had tested positive for COVID-19 while they were on their honeymoon in the Maldives.
Among those who tested positive for the disease were Andre Bragg, liberal senator for New South Wales, and Sally Hawach, daughter of advertising master John Singleton.
