Travellers arriving into the UK could face two weeks in quarantine as the government looks to prevent a deadly second wave of coronavirus.
Under measures expected to be announced soon, those who don't comply could be hit with a hefty fine of up to £1,000 or even face deportation.The mandatory 14-day quarantine period will apply to people arriving in Britain by airline.
This new rule is expected to come into force in June and will form part of Boris Johnson's "road map" for the next phase of the lockdown to be set out on Sunday.
Border Force officials will meet international travellers at arrival and ask them to provide an address where they will spend their quarantine.This information will be digitally logged and used to carry out
