Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary has hit out at a government ruling ordering people who arrive in the UK to self-isolate for two weeks.
Mr O'Leary branded the coronavirus rule as "nonsensical" because he claims there are not the resources to enforce it and check people are abiding by it.
He also predicted "no-one" will observe the rule, which came as Boris Johnson announced plans to ease lockdown measures on Sunday.
Mr O'Leary spoke on Good Morning Britain after announcing plans for two out of five flights to resume from July 1. He said: "What's ineffective is these kind of idiotic measures like a 14-day quarantine, which is completely non-science-based, when you can exempt the French and you can exempt the Irish.
