Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

Mark Hughes one of first to take to a golf course as new government guidelines begin

Mark Hughes played a reduced nine holes at his local golf club on Wednesday morning. The experienced former Premier League boss has been out of work since leaving Southampton back in December of 2018, and can now once again use up some of his free time playing sport.

Boris Johnson announced some slight changes to lockdown guidelines on Sunday which came into play on Wednesday, giving golfers the chance to play in limited groups.

The Prime Minister said in his televised address: “From this Wednesday, we want to encourage people to take more and even unlimited amounts of outdoor exercise. “You can sit in the sun in your local park, you can drive to other destinations, you can even play sports but only with members of your own household.”
