Premier League clubs are reportedly prepared to hand Liverpool the title early if the season cannot be completed due to the coronavirus crisis.
All action in the top flight has been suspended until April 3 at the earliest with fears the situation will drag on longer and prevent the campaign being completed.
Clubs are set for a second emergency meeting on Thursday to determine a plan of action once more information is known. There is set to be significant debate over issues such as relegation and European places, as well as promotion from the Championship.
