Those testing positive for the virus are up to 18,401, a rise of 17 on yesterday. And the number of patients getting treatment for confirmed or suspected cases of the virus in hospital stands at 316 - with nine currently in intensive care.
The update comes as a worker at a coronavirus -hit Scots care home retested positive for the bug after recovering from an earlier bout.
Yesterday it was revealed the staff member at the Home Farm care home on the Isle of Skye had been re-tested and found to have Covid-19.
