The government of Portugal has announced all schools will close while pumping billions of euros into businesses as the coronavirus pandemic continues.
Portugal has so far reported 112 confirmed cases of coronavirus, far below neighbouring Spain where dozens of people have died.
However, hits to the country's vitally important hotel sector has convinced the ruling party to put together a €2.3billion package, delay some tax payments and grant soft loans to help out struggling businesses.
