An NHS hospital's lead respiratory nurse is stranded in Egypt when she is desperately needed on the front line of the UK's coronavirus fight.
Lisa Ward has begged Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to send a plane to rescue her and 22 other British holidaymakers who are stuck on a cruise ship.
Ms Ward, a "major part" of the intensive care and ventilation team at Southend Hospital in Essex, said doctors and nurses are with her on the vessel - currently docked on the Nile River in the city of Aswan - and they are desperate to return home.
