A grandfather-of-six with coronavirus was in a coma for so long, his family had to explain to him what the pandemic was. Brian Harvey, 69, was admitted to hospital in late March with what was thought to be pneumonia.
Tests soon revealed he actually had COVID-19 - which had killed around 230 and infected more than 5,000 people in Britain at that stage.
