Coronavirus kills up to a quarter of residents at Paisley care home

Up to a quarter of the residents living in a Paisley care home have tragically passed away after contracting coronavirus.Kyle Court, which currently has 35 residents at its Lochore Avenue facility, said “less than ten” people have died after falling ill with Covid-19.But the owner of the home, HC-One, has refused to confirm the number of deaths that have happened.The firm did however say that a further five residents and one member of staff have tested positive for the potentially-deadly disease, while a further two care home workers are self-isolating.A spokeswoman for HC-One said: “Our thoughts and sympathies are with all families who have lost a loved one from coronavirus and we are doing our utmost to support them during this difficult
