Coronation Street has tonight revealed the death of soap stalwart Bill Webster. In tonight's episode (Monday 3 April), Debbie Webster returned from visiting dad Bill with her brother Kevin.

Debbie replied: "I suppose it's how I'd like to go." "Horizontal and full to the brim with morphine. I'm going to go out and help with the arrangements and stuff.
I should've stayed out there." Abi reassured her: "You weren't to know, and at least you got to see him." However, despite her best efforts, it was all for nought, as Debbie was later found sobbing over pictures of her late dad in Victoria Gardens.
