The Corrie star, who has graced our screens as Liz McDonald since 1989, now lives with her fourth husband, Jon. After dealing with depression and coming out of the other side of it, the 62-year-old is due to tour with The Thunder Girls later this year, and has a positive outlook on post-soap life. My motto in life is, be the best you can be, and keep on learning. We can learn from other people.

We can learn from life experiences, although sometimes the older I get, the less I think I know. I’m due to film my final Corrie scenes in Julyand I have no idea what will happen. The only thing I’ve been guaranteed is that Liz is not going to die.
