Hollywood star Sir Patrick Stewart spoke all about his past Coronation Street stint on The One Show on Thursday evening with Alex Jones and Rylan Clark-Neal.The Star Trek actor played a fire man in an episode from 1967 and his scene was aired on the BBC show this evening, more than five decades later.The 80-year-old explained: "It was the end of my first season with the Royal Shakespeare Company and at the end, expecting I would be let go, Peter Hall offered me a three-year contract, which was so overwhelming and I accepted – but they had nothing for me to do."So I was free, and along came this little appearance on Coronation Street and what get's better than that?"He added: "More than anything else, it made my parents very happy.
