Coronation Street fans couldn’t help but "cringe" after they watched Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) throw herself at Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) in a drunken smooch.During Monday’s (April 11) instalment of the popular ITV soap, the desperate woman was left in floods of tears as she said goodbye to baby Elsie.After their tearful goodbye, she decided to drink away her woes in the Rovers Return as she thought about her future with Imran and the possibility of having children in the future.But viewers were shocked when Toyah drunkenly stormed over to Imran’s solicitor’s firm to talk to him about moving forward with the possibility of adoption.With Imran noticeably missing from the office, the blonde bombshell had no one to turn to other than the Scottish hunk, who managed to calm her down as he gave her a large glass of water.But the heartbroken fiancée misread his kindness as signs of affection while he listened to her ongoing despair with his colleague Imran after she learnt how he had cheated on her with Abi Franklin and welcomed a child.

And with her inhibitions lowered, Toyah took a chance and slapped a smooch on the injured solicitor just as Imran walked through the door.
