CORONATION Street stars are heading back to work within weeks and the soap will feature a coronavirus plot, says Gail Platt actress Helen Worth.
The 69-year-old star said actors will be back on set in June and insisted producers have made sure filming will be "safe" amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The ITV soap stopped shooting on March 23 after the UK went into lockdown — with the long-running drama reduced to three shows a week.
When asked about Gail's future on the soap on This Morning today, Helen teased: "Well I hope I'm not going anywhere. "We are going back in a few weeks.
